Samson Neslund

Samson Neslund is a Swedish-born sound designer and supervising sound editor based at Skywalker Sound. His education included studies at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where he built a foundation in music and audio before moving into film sound design. Over the past decade, he has contributed to major large-scale productions, often within the Marvel Cinematic Universe and high-profile animation. His credits include Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019). In animation, he worked on films such as Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018), Onward (2020), and Raya and the Last Dragon (2021). Through his credit-rich career, he has accumulated recognition in the form of awards and nominations: his credits include two wins and eleven nominations across institutions such as the Motion Picture Sound Editors, USA (Golden Reel Awards), and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Primetime Emmy Awards). He has also been nominated for sound editing in productions such as the limited series WandaVision (2021) and won for feature animation sound editing on Raya and the Last Dragon (2021).
